Step 3: To make a topsy-tail ponytail, twist the ponytail inward.

Step 4: Divide your hair into two portions and fasten them together with elastics.

Step 5: Take one ponytail and cross it over the previous half-up parts before pulling it through.

Step 6: Repeat Step 5 with the other ponytail, drawing it up, across, and through the remaining hair.

Step 7: Repeat Step 6 with each portion of hair.

Step 8: Tuck the remaining hair into the bun and secure it with an elastic at the bun’s base.

Step 9: Pull out any front parts and loosen the bun’s strands for a more relaxed appearance.

Step 3: To form a topsy tail ponytail, pull the ponytail through itself.

4. Side Braids Half Up

Side Braids

Step 1: Part your hair down from middle and run a brush through it to eliminate any tangles.

Step 2: On one side of your part, begin a french braid using the front half of your hair.

Step 3: Only braid hair up to about halfway down the back of the head, after which you should braid it normally until it reaches the middle of the back of the head and tie it off with an elastic.

Step 4: Continue on the opposite side until the two braids meet at the nape of the neck. Elasticize the second strand.

Step 5: To complete the look, bind both braids with a festive scrunchie.
