Is what you don’t say what really matters?
According to behavioural experts, 93% of our communication is nonverbal, and your actions say a lot about you. As you might expect, hiring managers and interviewers are acutely aware of this. As a result, you must always maintain a confident and assured demeanour. Stop tapping your feet or drumming your fingers as well if you have any nervous or impatient habits. Also, keep an eye out for making eye contact with the interviewers – don’t stare, but make sure that you look them in the eye while you talk or listen to them. Additionally, before entering the building, be sure to leave any tells or facial expressions outside the door.
